So when the slavery gets bad enough, will we do anything about it. Only if were hungry. I believe the movie was 'minority report'. Aside from it's main sci-fi conceit of precognition, it's one of the most prescient pieces of our time and a clear warning on how many of our modern conveniences are taking us down a dangerous path. The right to "private property" is the true mark of freedom, and the privacy and control of your body is the most precious property right. "But it's unnerving to privacy experts" ?????????????????? It's unnerving to the public The movie was "Minority Report" The "pre-crime" department is here... aaaugh. I always get those two movies mixed up! Dang! I *knew* I shouldn't have been lazy and looked it up first! Really good way to stay out of this "terrifying" database? Don't get convicted of a crime. This does say its cataloging criminals. Sort of been the idea since the beginning of time. |
