I am glad this works out for many people.
I am stuck in the donut hole and need about $1500 worth of meds now. these are 3 prescriptions (no generics available) I have another 9 that are generics.
I am above the income standards for all assistance programs. Guess its time to look at the border.

still there are many worse off than I, so I do not complain (much)
