The blind leading the blind? Jesse Ventura said, when he was governor of Minnesota, that religion was for those with weak minds. Hmmmm. He may not have been too far off.

A long time ago, both of my Aunts were in a program similar to this one. Suffice to say, it didn't produce any long term results.

I like Gwen's message. She stands very clearly where she stands: there is no hiding with this Lady. If anyone chooses to shell out cash to her program( I never did) they did it with eyes wide open. The hard-core Christian leaning of the program is front and center. No tricks or watering down her beliefs far as i can see. Refreshing really.

As for long term results, seems many have experienced just that. Good. Her message is that many Americans are bowing down to worship the food instead of bowing down to God. Seems the obesity rates back that up.

Don't hate people for being Christian and Rich, lol.

Are the success rates that encouraging Antara? It seems to me that some desperate people might shell out hard-earned cash for a program they can't afford.

maybe they do, but is it really any different than doing Jenny Craig or other pricey weight loss programs?? Let the philosophy suit the paractitioner. Who really cares. If their "god" helps these folks lose weight, who is to nay say that?? In Overeaters Anonymous members turn their obsession with food, their anorexia, their bulemia, over to a "Higher Power". It works for them. (and it's free. Or theoretically so. They do accept donations at meetings. Most folks donate $1.00.
