Since we are so out of touch (er... smell) with our senses, we could use a smell interpreter. Just how would that go? Hand gestures? Canine assist? Sniffovision maybe? (Kinda like an electonic Berlitz) What about the smelling impaired....? Sorry, just couldn't resist the chance to stink up your clip. Interesting, tho, it is. Communication can be so subtle and subconscious, makes you wonder how we ever get on the same page. Olfaction and the brain areas associated remain crucial to human emotion, though this is mediated by cortical areas reinforced by cultural expression. Nevertheless. we all know when something stinks! As a family, we pay all our taxes and on time. I'm not a 'whiny little racist weasel'; just thought that was a curious and wasteful use of time and money. Just my own opinion. I'll try not to comment on posts that I think might interest you. |
