Respectfully I submit that I fond more technology related ideas coming from the Orient, or East Asia, or whatever, without creative content.

As a musician I se it all over - Western music that is technically perfect, emotionally off-white.

Again I saw yesterday a Japanese company taking creative Western ideas above.

What makes stealing the ideas and then technologically playing with them as teh Asians seem so fond of is twofold:
1) while Westerners, Americans in particular, are waiting for patents on certain of these technologies, same are already published before same patent is granted in Madrid or Washington, and China winds up ouflanking the West at our own creativity;

2) While a technology is new, which is most likely the case, any Asian company can offer a magic technology that "works on Captain Doctor Kirk-Spock's Wavelength" and promise that you will be hypnotized and mezmorized and healed of all stress - and your mind can be read. fine - but the problem is huge: who is there to put it the fire a bad rumor about the WRONG idea begins? Example: The Chinese are still making money, as is Don Campbell, of the disproven "Mozart Effect" - How? Because they are greedy and most consumers, including myself when it comes to cooking products of any type, are naive of any absurdly stupid but unable-to-prove-wrong assertions. "80% of babies do better in math after listening to 50 minutes or more of Bach each day." Disprove. Hard to do.

BTW, please keep the pirating down in Scandinavia: you only encourage creative people to stop doing the stuff that you want to steal in the first place. (not you, professor!)
