Yes - it's gotten so it's almost impossible to avoid imported goods; it's been almost thirty years since you could buy a US-made TV.

Valid point...however I'll just also add that (some of) China's factories are closing by the thousands, with many moving shop to new cheap labor countries like Vietnam or Cambodia.

Because of our freedom to do things like this, to explore fully, in an open society, the west will continue to be the inventors, innovators, creators, while the "great" China will be our employees, producing what we want, at a lower cost than we could. I envision our consumption moving away from products like cheap toys and towards products like cheap solar panels!
