Gosh, after so many years of searching, I've found it! I had the particular tape "Attack of the Decepticons" as a kid, and while it's SHEERLY cheesy and totally dated — and the voices are sooo off as well — I nevertheless am thrilled to find what was such an influential part of my youth. I must've listened to the tape over... and over.
