Pretty sad when you can't even mention the name of a federal holiday to school children for fear of being sued by the ACLU.

When did the entire country get so hypersensitive?

No "ho ho ho" and now we can't even say the name of the guy who formerly said that or the holiday for which he's known?

Give me a break. People should redirect all the time and energy they waste b**ching about this kind of stuff towards things that really matter. :-/

This --- has been going on for years, but it is now gathering momentum.
Stand by for the removal of all things even tentatively referring to GOD or CHRIST, and even some other religions.
Yet, nobody is banned from saying the H word, the K word or the R word for their respective holidays.
You can go to a regular. store and find ABSOLUTLEY NO wrapping paper with any Christian connotation whatsoever-( but SANTA by the way is ok) yet- you can find all the other seasonal holidays mentioned by NAME on several wrapping products.

Notice changing the name did nothing to change the message!

The biggest problem I came across in schools was from Seventh Day Adventist people who were against the inclusion of Easter and Xmas in the school program.
