spolastre says: I think this might have some truth to it. My most perfect dates turned out to be emotionally unavailable, while my so so dates or dates where something crazy happened were the best people. Rest of article: http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/20080212/sc_livescience/whyperfectdatesmakelousypartners&printer=1;_ylt=AvF7JXjXGCT_gaYVI6hzXOizvtEF Hahhahaha...so I guess we shouldn't tell these "High Self-Monitors" that we are on to them, huh? It took three dates for me to realize that the dates I thought were so-so to begin with were actually better people than that one amazing date I had with the person I thought was most fascinating being on this earth (I'm exaggerating a tad bit). Maybe the one great date only was interesting enough to hold my attention for that moment in time, while the mediocre first date, had it in abundance and didn't feel the need to impress the fact that they were interesting? Has it happened to you? Awwww....very sweet. =D Thank you! |
