Well, Newspapers have had analog clipmarks for a LOOONG time. I guess I'm not helping, am I? Now I'm thinking about an ad... A caveman walks into a cave, he raises his flame and sees an array of drawings on the walls and ceiling. Unfortunately, ALL of them sucks, merely stick figures and such, but he glances around and eventually spots a beautifully rendered cavewoman on a wall nearby. He's so excited, he wants to take the drawing home with him. So he grabs a stone tool and starts hammering away around the drawing until a huge chunk of rock falls out (with the drawing on it). He happily carries it away, back to his own cave and puts it next to his bed (he's in love). Stone Age Clipping. Except that now, all the other cavemen who want to see the cavewoman drawing in the cavern just see a hole in the wall. The only ones remaining are the drawing that suck. They're very angry and start a war against the guy who destroyed their museum wall. To me, the great benefit of Clipmarks is not taking something for yourself, but on the contrary, sharing it to the world. As if the caveman found a way to have the drawing next to his bed, while still present on the wall, and also in every walls of every cavern. Now that would have been something. Stone age clipping. Love it G. I rewrote the ending of mine... He takes out a red rock and copies the drawing onto his wall, then moves onto the next cave and does the same. After the tenth cave he realizes that he has it memorizes so he takes the original back to its resting space. He is widely touted as an artist ahead of his time by cavemen critics, is a hit on the neanderthal scene and goes on to a successful career slaying, then drawing lifelike portraits of mammoths. Great ...And that's what caused evolution from neanderthalians to homo sapiens ! |
