      <B><FONT face="Verdana">Although the origin of these photos are under some 
      dispute, the event really did happen.  Sometime in the late sixties 
      or seventies, a tugboat hauling a barge of coal somewhere around Alabama 
      underestimated the swiftly moving waters of a river and found itself on a 
      collision course with a bridge.  What happened was nothing short of 
      miraculous.</FONT></B></p> <P align="center">
