Good extension - but you need a good wide screen for this, which I don't have.

You don't need to keep both open, but when closing one be sure it's not the SplitPanel created one, that way you can open and close another panel for other purposes without affecting Dai.sy, or any other sidebar dependent app, such as Meebo, for instance, although I haven't tried yet. I will, and will report later.

Meebo works in the sidebar?! This I never knew!

What a coincidence, I just checked Meebo with SplitPanel and it works fine.

All working now. The Meebo one isn't that advanced, I think, but it's handy nonetheless.

The best method with Meebo is to do all your signing in, and then close the little Meebo blog window prior to splitting. That way your contacts pane can be sized nicely as a sidebar.
