sahara says:
Eight US soldiers were originally charged in connection with the killings, which sparked international outrage. After a report in Time magazine showed flaws in the initial marine statement, a preliminary investigation was begun. The inquiry confirmed civilians had been shot in their homes, but described the deaths as "collateral damage".
Sad, all around.

Was murder by psychopaths in uniform. Was bad for the victims only. Unjust wars are murder even against combatants, by definition, how much worse when against civilians and children! "Collateral" will not hide this, and is an insult to our intelligence. (Reports were of head shots at close range). What kind of cowards shoot people, unarmed, lying in bed? "Operation Iraqi Liberation", or assassination! When did Iraq attack the United States? Good God! Americans do not even care!

The guilty are responsible to a Higher Court if the earthly clears them, along with those who knew but helped clear them. "The blood cries up from the ground" to heaven for justice. Justice will not fail...
