I KNOW I'm going to be literally CRUCIFIED for this, but horse meat is, in fact, delicious!

Leonard Lopate recently interviewed a marine ecologist about the worldwide bluefin depletion on his radio show. He said the only way to reverse their eventual extinction now would be to basically eliminate the fish from menus everywhere.

“It’s like America running out of steak,” said Tadashi Yamagata, vice chairman of Japan’s national union of sushi chefs. “Sushi without tuna just would not be sushi.”

Another example of man not respecting the boundaries of nature. Nature is so very resilient, though. It surprises me all the time.
