Never saw it here but I agree 100% with Mr. Levy. The last thing Israel wants is peace. It will mean the end of their growth.

I think the point of the editorial is that there is a greater chance of peace with dialogue than without it.

Therefore, if the Israeli gov't truly wants peace it has an obligation to pursue dialogue without preconditions, which it refuses to do.

Certainly talking to one's neighbors is better for all than continuing and expanding the occupation or attacking Lebanon (paid for in part with billions of U.S. tax dollars)?

What is Iran doing.? Pursuing the nuclear power Israel already has? Why is it OK for the Jewish state to have it and not their neighbors?
What moral authority does US have after being the only country in the whole history that used nuclear power to kill civilians?
IT IS ALL HYPOCRISY!! Only the weak states want peace.

Hypocrisy? Hardly.
ONLY Iran has openly stated that "Israel lust be wiped off the map" That really sounds like peaceful intentions...NOT. Talk about hypocrites.

Because countries like Iran are stupid enough to use modern day nuclear weapons on their neighbors (and others) even though the U.S. was the first to prove that nuclear weapons are a bad idea. So because the U.S made a major mistake (in the eyes of the world view) it's ok for others to do this as well? The few players that DO have nukes are living with...
