I think it has to do more with immigration and a fear of changing demographics (with the accompanying sharing of power) under the guise of the so called "threat of Islam".

Same line of thinking behind the NWO/Conspiracy stuff, hatred of the U.N. etc. A fear that the Eurocentric world (and the U.S. role in dominating it) will come to an end. Instead of preparing for it, some decide to fight tooth and nail, which only accelerates the process.

This clip conveniently ignores a few simple facts:

1. That 100 000 innocent Muslim Iraqis are dead today because of the delusions suffered by a man who believed God told him to do it.

2. That it's American soldiers killing civilians in another Muslim country (Afghanistan) and not vice versa.

3. If the Muslim world were really all fanatics, like George W Bush, we would have had WW3 long ago.

This type of hype is probably produced by NeoCon spin doctors to get the ever so naive Right behind them when they next invade a Muslim country for it's oil.

The article, and this clip, are pointing out that A) "Islamophobia" is stupid and dangerous and that B) the people spreading Islamophobia will be ultimately responsible if/when somebody snaps and decides to kill the next brown-skinned person in a turban they see.
