No new developments on ACORN for two weeks, but it came up 22 times Thursday morning. Meanwhile, FN makes only 2 mentions of the 3.5% growth in GDP that broke at 8:30AM - the first growth since the beginning of the worst recession in 70 years.

Fox News does us all a great service. No longer is it necessary to converse for ten or even five minutes with someone to spot them as an intellectual infant, willing to do or spout whatever big business orders up.

Now all you have to ask is "Do you like Fox News?"

Well of course, mentioning an improvement in the economy means that non-Republicans are doing something right.

Maybe Fox has to make up for the deficit in reporting of the rest of the liberal news media?

Don't kid yourself. FoxNews is dominated by its editorial news shows, not by news itself. No other network follows that plan, and no other network gets its story lines from its editorial writers.

And the rest of the news media does not do this??

Who holds a position at CBS News, NBC News, or ABC News anything like Glenn Beck or the other opinion shows on Fox? FoxNews is known for its opinion shows, they are its revenue-drivers, and as this clip shows, they dominate its presentation of the news. No other net is opinion-first. No other network even has the kind of opinion programming from which Fox often draws its headlines. See FoxNews: A 24/7 Political Operation for an example.

Further, no other news network has is owned by someone with an avowed and public political agenda, and no other news network has a news director whose self-proclaimed life's work is advancing a certain political view. See FoxNew's Ailes: I Defend US, Israel, Constitution. Defending Israel is objectivity?

We are really stating opinions in this discourse. I quit watching TV news years ago when I realized it was so biased. The reports were really editorials instead of the news. I don't even watch Fox News much, maybe two or three times a month. I guess our opinion is in the eyes of the beholder because I see the bias mostly on mainstream media and you see it on Fox.
