I only just saw the FOUR wheel variety on the road here yesterday... I still prefer my bicycle, hehe Damn Antara! Sugar, I so want one of these and that ought to tell you that my wild days have passed me by, hahahhahahahha! I used to have a bike back in the day when it was more uncommon to see a woman ride, at least in my little state. I had a Kawasaki 250 low rider which was a nice little first bike for me, and GAWD, I used to ride my best friend on the back of it and we were both so hot, I'm not kidding, we used to stop traffic! hahahahahaha, oh those were the days my friend! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5pkkAhETYg Thank freaking GAWD I'm not quite as dated as that song!!!! And unlike my best friend I'm still [i]... I always wanted a motorcyle but never had one. I still want one but at my age I would settle for a scooter. I was always told I could have a scooter because they were safer but I didn't want safe. I wanted looks and speed. Tany, Some of these are really sharp looking, if you can forget the speed. Motorcycles are really fun. I gave mine up when I decided my kids deserved better than a grease spot on the road, ha! But now I have an ATV which is probably just as dangerous, but GAWD, they are so much fun. The wheels are large enough that you won't go heels-over-head the first time you hit a crack in the sidewalk. You can get some pretty decent speed up, and they're FUN! I don't care if people think it looks dorky for a 37-year-old woman to be riding one of these things. Inside their heads the soundtrack is "that's dumb. that's silly. everything sucks" while inside my head the soundtrack is "whee! this is great! what a gorgeous day!" And to be honest, I get a lot more people saying "hey, cool! where'd yo... A tenant who has Huntington's at the apartment complex I manage scoots around on something like this Lexica. It actually is kinda cool and I like your attitude that you don't care what others think; I mean who cares as long as you are enjoying yourself? |
