I suppose it is natural that races develop to match their needs etc. There is also the fact that for a long time groups of humans steered clear of each other for health reasons - get sick; get attacked, get real sick. In the end, though, I think we'll all overrun the petri dish and spill dead into oblivion - another branch of the chain gone awry. Are human races evolving away from each other? Yes. Ethnic enclaves and warring factions? Devolution? Or evolution as in the survival of the fittest? Outwit, Outlast, Outplay? I have always held out the hope that we might eventually evolve towards each other. |
