I assume if one is left-handed, one would raise their right shoulder?

They didn't include one of the easiest tips to prevent camera shake: use as slowest shutter speed the inverse of the lens size e.g. 100mm lens use 1/100 sec or faster, 500mm lens use 1/500 sec or faster.
