Well, familiarity didn't breed contempt, but it certainly tarnished his halo. He was a fairly creative guy, but a terrible businessman, and he took on partners with the idea that he'd go off somewhere and create while they managed the corporate side, but the partners weren't good businessmen either and they came close to sinking the company more than once. I bailed out and went into video game design. If you're they right age, maybe you played some of my products.

If some of your products are between Combat! and oh I don't know Halo (with Gunship!, Mario Bros, Pac-Man, Berzerker and I few hundred other titles) then the answer is....yes!

I was in the game biz from 1981 to 1985 - then the market went bust and didn't bounce back for about ten years. Probably my best-known stuff was the opening volley of TV game shows for home computers. I also did a few arcade-to-home translations. You'd have to be at least around 30-ump years old or so to have been playing them then.

I think I had a game that was based on MTVs remote control.

All the great companies that where long gone. Micropose, been one of my favorites. Of course, I am not much a sim-head as I used to. I am more a WoW/FPS kind of guy these days.
