Certainly would make "academic freedom" farcical in Israel. Prof. Gordon wrote in LA Times that he did not want his children or the children of his Palestinian neighbors growing up in an apartheid regime; for this, he may lose his job. Is this the USSR? Prof Norman Finkelstein was pushed out of his teaching position at a university in Chicago (DePaul U) for his book 'The Holocaust Industry'. A professor at a university in Ottawa (Carleton or the U of Ottawa, can't recall which) was let go because some of his Jewish students didn't care for his views on the conflict in Israel/Palestine. It would seem that academic freedom is becoming a rather limited freedom in the Zionist-occupied Western world

He certainly won't get support in his own country; Israelis are kept mostly ignorant of the atrocities that the IDF and Israeli government perpetrates. The people are all either ignorant, or convinced that they're morally justified to be absolute animals to the Palestinians.
