I should clarify - it remains inactive against the US - and continues to be dominated by Western Europe US oriented conflicts rendering it impotent.

Abu Gareb, Guantanamo and also those wonderful locals we had going across Europe suggest we aren't doing the best job. Moreover, the US who exempts itself from the world courts, harbours those with crimes against humanities charges (Kissenger), and refuses to partake in the HR part of the UN. If Darfur is such a problem then shouldn't we be there instead of waging religious or economic wars in the middle east? I'm confused it seems like this article strives to achieve self righteousness (a common conservative sentiment) yet fails self accountability or responsibility.
