jt3600 says: I'm all for saving the environment but what happens when we all plug in especially during long hot days, the electric company freaks when the air conditioners jump a degree or 2, then where will you be when you can't plug in to even use your car ? Where's all the electricity coming from ? What about being plugged in during storms ? What about being plugged in during storms ?A surge. What would that cost now? I live in Florida and during storm season even so called mild ones wipe out everything. Saving the planet, undoubtedly may not be as convenient as you would like it to be, however the alternative is not where you want to go. Believe me I'm all for saving the planet but before you really look into all the possibilities is it fare to dismiss the alternatives there may be one we missed, in my mind there's always a better way. One could be that people quit being lazy and walk. I live near people that will use they're car to go to the store which about 200ft away and then bitch about the price of gas. When all the electric starts a problem "Nuclear Energy" will be the next cry. PS I take the bus everywhere. |
