POPSSIG Sauer P-226 Semi-Automatic Handgun The SIG Sauer P226 Handgun has become a top choice of weapon among military and law enforcement personnel, and is becoming one of the most popular semi-automatic pistols on the market among civilian consumers, largely because of its stellar reputation as one of the world's most dependable, reliable, accurate and easy-to-use handguns on the market. The biggest problem with the SIG P226 is the fact that it costs so much. A bare-minimum stock model typically runs at least around $800. Obviously, this is a bit cost-prohibitive for some civilian consumers seeking a weapon for self defense. That said, the SIG Sauer P-226 Stainless is an extremely high-quality weapon that is well worth the cost to one who can afford it. Perhaps the only downfall of this particular model besides the cost would have to be the weight. The P226 is an unusually heavy and bulky gun, which makes it less-than-ideal for self-defense purposes.

POPSCan Explosive Diarrhea be the Cause of Hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids and diarrhea are similar in several ways, people usually don't take it seriously and it's great for jokes, but there are several cases when you should not delay going to the doctor to get a proper diagnosis. While diarrhea in and of itself is rarely a contributing factor towards the development of inflamed hemorrhoids, under certain circumstances diarrhea can in fact be a contributing cause of both hemorrhoid irritation and inflammation. However, certain types of diarrhea can also add to the irritation brought on by hemorrhoids. Excessively frequent bouts of diarrhea are one example of this. Another example would be explosive diarrhea, which itself is a loosely defined term. Suffice it to say, explosive diarrhea is typically the result of food poisoning or some other kind of intestinal infection such as roundworms and/or other parasites. The bottom line (no pun intended), is that frequent, painful bouts of diarrhea can in fact contribute to hemorrhoids. If sympt

POPSPagans Botch Winter Solstice Celebration A crowd of hundreds of polytheists showed up at Stonehenge at the crack of dawn in freezing temperatures to celebrate the winter solstice, the most important pagan holiday of the year. Unfortunately, they were a day early. The Gods did not take pity on them, however, and Zeus has vowed to smite those that put their ignorance regarding their "religion" on display for all to see...

POPSDigg Screws Members | Goes rel "no follow" In a disturbing trend among many SB sites, Digg is apparently trying to keep all the link juice for itself, saying it will only allow links to go do follow if a certain number of user votes. The problem with that is we all know that vote rings make it possible for many undeserving links to get votes at Digg. So how can Digg vouch for Huffington Post, when the rumor is they have paid voters, etc.?

according to a law enforcement official. The suspect told authorities that he had explosive powder taped to his leg and used a syringe of chemicals to mix with the powder that was to cause explosion. This is of concert because it is a method of mixing that is consistent with terror techniques. The suspect traveled from Nigeria to Amsterdam and then Detroit. Fortunately, the man suffered second-degree burns, consistent with fireworks or low-level explosives. The Airbus A330-300, a twin-engine jet, was carrying 278 passengers. POPSWhen Sleight of Hand Is Used to Pass an Unpopular Bill by Michael Barone
prohibiting slavery in territories north of Arkansas and substituted popular sovereignty -- territory residents could vote slavery up or down. We cannot say with assurance that the Kansas-Nebraska Act was unpopular -- Dr. Gallup didn't start polling until 81 years later. But the results of the next election were pretty convincing. The Republican Party was suddenly created to oppose the Kansas-Nebraska Act, and the 1854-55 elections transformed the Democrats' 159-71 majority to a 108-83 Republican margin. Democrats didn't win a majority of House seats for the next 20 years. Nor did the Kansas-Nebraska Act settle the issue it addressed. Pro-slavery and anti-slavery settlers fought it out in "bleeding Kansas," and Douglas felt obliged to break with the Democratic administration and disown election-stealing by the pro-slavery side. The issue roused a former congressman named Abraham Lincoln to re-enter politics, and he beat Douglas in the popular vote (but not in the legislature)
